Join in the jingle bells fun

Come along to a Christmas funday this Thursday, 13 December, for free festive entertainment, including Santa’s grotto, face painting, make your own Christmas decorations, and much more!
The entertainment gets underway from 4pm at West Earlham Community Centre, in Earlham with Christmas games, children’s entertainers, Marlpit Community Choir and free refreshments.
There are prizes to be won for all ages – including Christmas hampers and decorations for the adults – and every child who visits Santa’s grotto not only gets a chance to meet Father Christmas himself but will also receive a free gift.
This free family event, which runs until 8pm, has been organised for residents by Norwich City Council housing officers in partnership with council contractors Norse, Gasway, Foster Property Maintenance, SCCI Alphatrack and Anglian Building Products, as well as Cotman Housing, and tenant and community groups.
Event organiser and tenant involvement officer Natasha Norman said: “This is our fourth and final funday of the year and we hope to see lots of people from the west of the city getting into the Christmas spirit. All our previous fundays we’ve held around the city have attracted hundreds of residents and we hope this event is just as successful – not least because Santa is our special guest! Why not come along and chat to us over a cup of tea while your children enjoy the free entertainment and take home a present.”
