You’ve got to be in it to win it!

Our March winner receiving his prizes

Don’t miss your chance to win a £50 shopping voucher simply by giving feedback on the service you receive from Gasway, like Eddie Lovatt (pictured) who is our March 2012 winner.
Mr Lovatt was delighted to receive his £50 voucher and Gasway goodies (as well as a giant Easter egg because he was lucky enough to win at Easter!).
All you have to do to enter our monthly prize draw for the voucher is fill in the online satisfaction survey about your recent visit from Gasway.
If you have already completed a satisfaction form by post, or while the engineer was on site, you will automatically be entered into the competition. Gasway will notify winners directly.
Talking about his experience of his Gasway visit, Mr Lovatt said: “The engineer came in and we had a chat – he was very friendly. He carried out the service quickly and efficiently, and was very tidy. I felt very confident in the service and it gives me peace of mind to know the boiler is safe.”
He completed the questionnaire online, in his own time after the engineer had left. “The questions were very straightforward to answer and the website is easy to access. There were only six short questions about the service and it took me less than 10 minutes.”

Norwich residents enjoy an eggs-ellent funday!

Norwich children were treated to games and chocolate while their parents picked up life-saving gas safety tips at the Gasway Easter Funday on 4 April, hosted in partnership with Norwich City Council.
As the council’s main contractor for gas servicing and repairs, Gasway sponsored the event, which provided somewhere free to go in the Easter holidays for families looking to have fun and learn.
An Easter egg hunt, face painting and colouring competition were a big hit with the little ones, while residents made the most of the opportunity to speak with housing officers and Gasway staff about issues and ides. Gasway supplied all the goodies to giveaway and co-presented an exciting live gas demonstration with the council.
Fire-fighters from Sprowston Fire Service, GasSafe representatives and Mousehold TRA (tenant and resident association) also attended and chatted with residents,
Three more themed fundays for residents are scheduled to take place across the city this year.

Norwich students spread gas safety message

As part of our contract with Norwich City Council, Gasway recently teamed up with Norwich students to run a competition to help spread vital gas safety messages to council tenants. As part of the competition, Grace Barrell and Ella Greenway, both 11 from Sewell Park College, created a poster which will feature on the cover of Norwich City Council’s gas safety leaflet. Judging took place at City Hall by council leader Brenda Arthur, director of regeneration and development Jerry Massey and Derrick Rust-Andrews, director of Gasway and you can see the winning entry and read more about the competition here:
